Hey guys, I'm new to the forum. I have a 04 v70r that has the "chassis setting service required" message. I have access to a high level matco scan tool but it can't go in to the sum module, it will go in to any other module (doors, seats,ect.). Anyway I was thinking of purchasing the Vida/dice unit. They have them on eBay for less than $100. So #1 is this the best was to read the codes in the sum module. #2 is there anything that I can't do with this setup that I would still need go to the dealer for (will I be able to program new module's or a new key?). #3 is it easy to use. If there is any other info I should know about using this set up please share.

Yes, Vida/Dice is the way to go but be careful on youtube.  I bought my first one from ebay for less than $100.  The disk had a virus so it ended up being a wasted $100. I bought the one that I successfully use now from http://www.buyobdtoolshop.com/wholesale/volvo-vida-dice-diagnostic-tool-2011-d-version.html and they also have youtube videos on how to install and do the SUM calibration.  You can also one of the recommended vendors discussed on Swedespeed (http://forums.swedespeed,com/forumdisplay.php?51-R-Forum-(2004-2007)).

Good luck,
