Anyhow I didn't buy it, it sold for $4K even with 106K miles but I had no idea what it needed, it was sold as-is and with at least looking at a $900 transporation bill to get it back here, I passed!
If the bidding had stalled in the low to mid 3s I probably would have bid but unfortunately it didn't.....

The only way to get new blood here is to get new owners. The only way to get new people here is to get new buyers/owners or this site will die out, (and it's on its way now so you better rethink this).
It probably was a decent enough R as someone paid enough for it wholesale and another possible V70R member may have been lost but I'm not going to drag one across the country and do my thing on it for a flyer anymore, the buyers are less and less.
He (or she) may find his way here..... or he may not! Do you want to take the chance?
Too much work for too little reward.

So let me get this straight, you are the sole driver of traffic to this site? Please be informed that you are not the only person that buys/sells R's in North America. Given the age, mileage and the lack of warranty support for the R, I think it will do nothing but drive traffic to this website. I mean what else are you going to do?
Who said anything about VS? That's Chucks' baby, has nothing to do with the rules of the road on this site.
