I have a 98 V70 AWD Sportwagon. Dark green with black leather, Elbrus wheels with Bridgestones on them..
The ECU has been changed to an R version. I am looking for more power and want to upgrade the turbo pressure release spring and valve.
I realize it's a small turbo and limited in its output. The engine is classified as the Low Pressure Turbo version. How high can I push the pressure (safely)?
Now I realize that this is a V70R site, but what is the real difference between the two? Is there a physical mechanical difference in the engines. ?
Or is it just a modification in ECU, injector output, or boost pressure?
What do I need to Modify a V70 to an R?
I really like this car, but as stated it's a little under powered.
