  1. Well i dont know how the prices on cars is where you live but here in sweden that car would not cost more than 100 bucks ;>

    1. Fuel pressure too high

    Just get a new fuel pressure regulator.

    2. Misfire cylinder 3

    problably bad coil or plugs.

    3. Something related to the MAP sensor

    map sensor is easy to replace 

    4. Something concerning the coolant temperature sensor.

    same here, easy to replace (also cheap)

    5. Some evaporative code. 

    -have no idea

    The engine wouldn't start without half throttle being applied while cranking, and the engine would stall if the RPM went under 1k. 

    Problably som vacuum leak or leaks between turbo and intake.

    Additionally:

    The headliner is coming down

    The right rear window motor is bad

    get a new one from scrap yard

    The SRS light is on

    Loose connector problably

    The owner is unclear as to whether the timing belt has ever been replaced.

    just change it. its not that hard but takes abit of time. there is alot of videos of this on youtube :)

     

    Depending of you mecanical skill.

    This car is a bit of a gamble becouse you dont have definitive errors. becouse some of the problems can be from many different things :)

    Yes there's a lot of questions about what is needed to achieve a certain effect, so I was thinking the same set list.

    Remember that all vehicles / engines are different and provide different effects with the same trimmdelar. These are approximate figures on what you can possibly get.

    This applies 4 cyl engines for the S40 / V40.

    Kit for 280-300hk

    Turbo 16T / 18T / 19T happy with 7: ans angled exhaust house
    Adapter plate between the turbo and manifold
    Steel braided hoses for oil / water
    Manure from T4 phase 2 or S60R
    Converted fuel systems with return
    Sports exhaust from the turbocharger with sports / race catalyst (down spout needs to be modified to fit the exhaust house)
    3 "LMM (if you have one phase 1)
    T4 or S60R connection may be needed if you have a 2.0t
    Ported manifold (happy phase2)
    Sport air filter
    Bosch platinum spark plug F5DP0R
    and a fine mapping of the ...

    Ideally, a Alloy intercooler oxå to cope with the boost in length.

    This operation runs well on all x40 turbo models, but not 2.0t phase 2 when its pistons probably disagree!
